Ovation 2778AX-FKOA Standard Elite Natural

Standard Elite is one of the most important series in Ovation catalog, and it`s new 2012 model, 2778AX-FKOA was carefully designed and produced to offer a maximum playability and tone projection. In terms of tone and body construction, the "Deep Contour" rounded bowl is applied, and it brings super strong low end and powerful overall tone, both unplugged, and plugged in. The figured koa top on this model is bound in several layers of binding and features multiple sound holes with flamed maple epaulettes. There is only natural satin finish available for this Standard Elite six-stringer. The bridge is made of rosewood and features a dark walnut stain and white saddle. Ovation OCP-1K under-saddle piezo pickup is combined with Ovation OP-Pro preamp with on-board controls. Control panel is equipped with bass, mid and treble sliders, gain knob and pre-eq on/off button. Also, there is a chromatic tuner with on/off button and LED display. The neck is made o f five pieces of mahogany and maple and it meets the body at the 14th fret. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and is equipped with 22 frets with a set of pearl diamonds and dots.
